When it comes to climate change, experts predict Australia will become one of the worst-impacted places on the planet, with some parts being rendered uninsurable.

As the country’s largest insurance provider, Suncorp wanted to help Australians stand up to extreme weather events – not just recover.

To show everyday Aussies how they could make simple changes to strengthen their homes, we made one of the most vulnerable roads in Queensland the strongest it could be. Five family homes were renovated to combat fire, flood and cyclone. We captured this to create two years worth of content, product films and comms.

The project is still rolling out, but it’s been an honour to see an insurance company use their advertising spend where it counts, especially after personally experiencing the effects of severe fires and floods.
